My husband had connections with St. Helier's Renal Unit in the last six years, ever since he was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease, requiring hospitalisation many a time with his ongoing medical condition.
The service and care he received on every occasion throughout, starting from Ambulance Service, A & E and all connected Renal Wards have always been excellent.
Sadly, he passed away on the last occasion he was hospitalised; 20 Feb - 19 June 2017.
We his family take this opportunity to make a special mention of our ever grateful thanks for the amazing care he received from all Doctors, Nurses and other staff members throughout his long stay in the Renal Wards - "your expertise, dedication and compassion second to none helps to cushion our sad loss - you are NHS at its best!
Thank you."
