What I liked
Nothing!
What could be improved
Communication every time I asked a question all i got was "I don't know I have just come on duty"
Anything else?
My Grandfather was staying at the hospital and couldn't get out of bed. so he couldn't take himself to the toilette. He was never supplied with a pee bottle. every time me and my mum came to visit him we would have to ask for a bottle then they would take too long and he would wet the bed.
One day we went to visit him and he was in his armchair in his room with his head on the table trying to get comfortable as he was in so much pain. We asked the nurse if we could put him into bed only to find the bed was soaking wet.
another time we went to visit him at lunch 12pm he was in the dinning room eating we told him we would be back at 6, then when we returned he was still in the dinning room with no drink no buzzer button so he couldn't call a nurse he was there sat like that for 6hours with 1 shoe on and half of his cardigan on. We then asked the nurse if he could be put in the bed and 1 nurse and a lad wheeled him into the room, they drew the curtain so me and my mother stood outside, they were telling my grandad to "get up, stand up i know you can" then they had a nurse on each arm pulling him saying come on stand up! Then the nurse said in a sharp voice "what in the hell are we working with here?" Only to find they had not undone his seatbelt!
Afterwards they didn't even say sorry. I think this attitude is disgusting and you should treat and respect others no matter how old they are!
"Nothing!"
