I have only just discovered this comment section and I am so pleased to be able to speak of my experience. I was admitted into Stepping Hill Hospital on the 10th of April 2017 and discharged on the 23rd of May 2017. I've always had a huge fear of hospitals but I don't any more thanks to Stepping Hill. I had a stroke and initially was admitted to ward B2 and I actually cried when they told me I was being transferred to the Stroke unit E1 as I enjoyed it so much in B2 but I needn't have worried as the nurses, carers, doctors and physio therapists were just as brilliant in E1. as they were in B2. they have all got their work cut out for them yet they do it with a smile on their face and nothing is too much trouble for them, they are worth their weight in gold. I was there quite a while so they became like family to me and I will never be able to thank them enough for the wonderful care they gave me, and I will never forget them. I'm going to the outpatients there tomorrow and I'm so excited as I hope to get to see them again:)
