"Lister ward"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital / Endocrinology

I have been visiting the Lister Ward once a week for the past three weeks.

The waiting room is over heated, however, that is my only complaint.

I found the staff - Doctors, nurses, receptionist, the tea staff to be professional and pleasant.

The ward by nature is busy, dealing with a range of problems.

Having sat in the room where they perform infusions etc., I think the staff dealt with people with respect.

To be honest, I think the Medway gets an unfounded level of complaints, I have been in a number of departments and can't praise the staff high enough.

The difficulty with the Medway is the hospital buildings are largely Victorian and some of the facilities are tired looking, but that's not the fault of the hospital per se but government funding.
