Following a cycling accident on August 24th at Derby Velodrome, in which I broke my collarbone, I was treated at Chesterfield Royal. This included being seen in A&E a few hours after the accident, then in the Orthopaedic Clinic a few days later, and finally being admitted to have the broken bone plated. This brought me into contact with many members of staff, from the surgeon who performed the operation to the person who cleaned the ward. In every single case, they were friendly, polite, caring and helpful, and I cannot praise them enough for the care I received. Every single one of them was a credit to the hospital, and to their profession. I was only sorry that I did not have the opportunity to thank each of them individually when I left. So the least I can do is leave this positive and well deserved review.
"Very happy with the care I received at the Royal"
