(as the patient),

My appointment was for 8 a. m. in Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline. I was at my bedside by 0750, in the operating theatre at 1050, home for 15. 30. The whole experience was most impressive. Excellent care. Professional, friendly, caring, thoughtful staff. Great theatre team - happy atmosphere. I had an arm block, so was awake throughout and included in proceedings.

The date for my op. took into consideration booked holidays I have coming up. Everyone has been and still is - for fresh dressings - most accommodating.

I am very grateful.

We are also very grateful to you for the detail you have included in your account of this which makes it sound like we got everything just right for you. To say that the whole experience was most impressive is high praise indeed. It will be my pleasure to share your post with all the staff involved in your care. They will be delighted to know that you feel that you have had excellent care and that they have been aknowledged for their professionalism, friendliness, caring and thoughtful attitudes. We try very hard to be patient centred which I'm sure helps to create the happy atmosphere.
