"Ward 2a and the doctor"

About: Wycombe Hospital / Cardiology

My mum was admitted to ward 2a in wycombe after a CT scan picked up fluid around her heart. She has end stage cancer and hates being away from her home for to look. Well what can I say from the lovely lovely person that did the scan and found the fluid. Right to the person giving out dinner and the porters they are all amazing. The member of staff that did the scan handled my mum nerves so well and the fact they went and actually got the cardio doctor to see her was amazing. As soon as my mum met the doctor they put her at ease. The doctor was so lovely to her and took the time to chat with her in a very busy ward. The doctor was meant to go home at 9.30 but stayed late to scan her again and have another look at the fluid. The porter that took us to the ward was so friendly and gentle. Everyone on that ward was brillient. But a massive thank you goes to the doctor. And the person that did my mum's scan. To not treat my mum like an old moaning lady to see she is clearly panicked at being away from home and to just make her stay in hospital at a time that is already difficult cause she is dying so much better. You doctor and the ward and the Dr scanning team are a credit to the hospital

I have never experienced such a fantastic collection of people on one ward before. Thank you so so much.
