We would like to thank Maryport Victoria Cottage Hospital Therapy team. Rebecca, Sally and Liz for the many weeks dedicated to getting my husband onto his feet again and being able to help him lift his right arm which he was not able to do after his strokes.
Nothing was too much for these special ladies, they have given my husband more confidence mentally and physically. We felt involved from the moment they started treatment and being given a wheelchair for my husband on his worst days to get around was a bonus as he is not able to to go out without my assistance. Also he can get in and out of the bath or shower easier with the rail and seat that was provided. He feels much more confident with the rail being there, thank you.
His balance has improved but he has a long way to go, but without this team of dedicated professional ladies things would have been much worse.
We feel we are not on our own any more and this help has been well appreciated. Hopefully they will always be there to do the great work in the community and always with a smile and kind word.
