The first experience I had with the crisis team was awful, I was 17 and depressed and they told me I was lying and to grow up. This made me feel 100 times worse and made me isolate more. However, seeing them 4 years later after a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder, the help I received was much better and the staff were much more respectful and compassionate.
