"Second visit in five months."

As a hospital phobic my husband was adamant that I needed a referral.I was pleased to see that Spire Fylde Coast was on the NHS list of choices. Having undergone the treatment for that ten year ongoing problem in March, I plucked up the courage to visit my GP for the third time in twenty years, for a thirty month old problem .

I was again fortunate that this excellent hospital was on the list of choices.

I was admitted as a day case for surgery, but due to a reaction to the general anaesthetic I was kept in overnight. The care I received from all members of staff was exceptional, a special mention to nurse on daycare and nurse at nightime.

Thanks to my wonderful surgeon for a relatively painless operation. I do believe that this hospital and staff have cured my phobia.
