"Clinc 1 appointment - disappointing"

About: Addenbrooke's Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

Saw a consultant regarding a torn meniscus in my knee. Unfortunately they were so busy showing off to the medical student in the room and contradicting everything I did not feel I received satisfactory attention as the patient. I have more than one medical condition and am under various departments at Addenbrooke's but because I was referred to Clinic 1 for my knee the Dr barely acknowledged the other issues and how they might be relevant. A number of times the Dr left the room - presumably if we'd been alone they may have been less dismissive about the fact that they kept walking in and out of my appointment, however because a student was present they seemed to feel it was ok to come and go with the briefest of apologies for interruption.

I'd also like to mention that the Receptionist did not seem happy in their work. They could barely bring herself to speak to me and behaved like they were bored out of their mind.
