l went for a colonoscopy at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermine.
Everybody was very friendly and efficient. I was seen promptly made to feel comfortable and they couldn't have been nicer.
The procedure was relatively painless I was offered Entonox (gas and air ) but didn't need to use it although I had it to hand, the doctor talked to me throughout the procedure and l could see what was going on on the screen.
The doctor came to see me afterwards when l was having a cup of tea and a sandwich (supplied by them) and explained what would have after the biopsies had been reviewed.
I can speak too highly of my treatment and would reassure anyone who is going in for an endoscopy not to worry.
I can't speak too highly of the service l received ar St. Margaret's in Dunfermline.
Long live the NHS?
"Everybody was very friendly and efficient."
