I attended Heartlands Hospital Day Surgery Unit for a minor op (ENT). I was incredibly nervous after having less than positive experiences at another hospital.

The staff were amazing - down to earth and empathetic. Everyone involved in my care was patient and kind, answering all sorts of questions as I rambled on nervously. My consultant was brilliant - he put me at ease and treated me with respect and kindness.

If I were to return for future treatment I would definitely not be as apprehensive. My experience is that; the staff are invested in people and not just working on numbers.

I am pleased that you had such a good patient experience, especially as you had a less than positive experience at another hospital.

It is lovely read that you felt the staff were down to earth and empathetic and that you were treated with respect and kindness, as I appreciate that you were very nervous.
