"Plymouth Options - the last option ?"

It was suggested, by my GP, that I self-refer to Plymouth Options.

I identified a suitable workshop, but when I attempted to enrol I was told it was not running, and there was no prospect of it running until the new year.

Neither were any other suitable courses identified, or did their "manager" suggest other providers who may be able to assist.

All I was being offered was "an assessment" of my needs.

As I had self-referred, my needs had, already, been assessed so the prospect of another reiteration of the obvious - they could not help, or the much more dangerous attempts at "shoehorning" me into their unsuitable services was something I had no intention of exposing myself to !

So would I recommend this service to friends and family?

No - I would ensure Plymouth Options remains your last option, whilst they insist upon being so unhelpful ...
