About: CRHT Northumberland

13 shrinks in 3 years , never saw the same one twice. 7 started me on new medication and not 1 time did they stay long enough for me to have the dose pout up to an amount where it could be working. got sick of new people asking me the same questions everytime i went there when most didn't even know my name. told a shrink this and they got in my face so i had to walk out. 3 days later i got a letter saying that after 30 years of being in the mental health system that i no longer needed it. the day care team lied to me from the start about appointment times, doing what they said they would do or even keeping there word on doing the most basic of things that they promised to do. i had a meeting with my cpn to meet this team before i got involved just to say that if i did come they can never lie to me as it destroys me inside. was told it wasn't needed as they don't do that. my very 1st appointment i was promised a call in the next 24 hours about my sleeping medication and contact would be made with the shrink. i waited 2 weeks and nothing. i cut, they don't care as 5 pm they are off home wile people who can't even leave there home by themself crash and burn. this place is a joke

Thank you for raising your concerns in respect of your contact with the Mental Health Team at Greenacres.

I am sorry to hear that you have been left dissatisfied with the contact you have had and the number of different members of the team you have seen during your time with the service.

You have raised concern with the communication around appointments, changes to medication and also about the way discharge was communicated to you. If you continue to have concerns we would like to discuss these with you and would urge you to contact the Pathway Manager at Greenacres Centre on 01670 844 700, if you do not feel able to do this you can discuss the issues with your GP who can make the referral on your behalf.

I would like to apologise again for any distress that this experience may have been caused you.
