"Told I had a tumour"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Clinical Radiology (Diagnostic Radiology)

(as a service user),

I was sent for an ultrasound. Then I received a call to go up to see them. I did (I took a friend). The doctor told me I had a tumour on my right lung and it could be cancerous. I was sent to Golden Jubilee for a CT scan.

Results showed no tumour, however they said I had something wrong with my kidney (not life threatening).

CT did show a mass around my lung and I have to go to Crosshouse to discuss that.

I am unhappy that I was told I had a tumour. I told my family and now I have been told there is no tumour and I am feeling like I have lied to them (my family). I would really like an apology.
