"NIPPY-3+ ventilation machine hose of bad quality."

Problem with NIPPY-3+ machine hardware component.

I have visited Respiratory Support and Sleep Centre Papworth Hospital for annual check. Overall it was a good experience, very positive. They performed a maintenance procedure on the machine and supplied a new breathing mask (which turn to be very good, better than previous),

Also they supplied a new hose connecting the machine with mask.

I have it tried it and discovered a problem:

The hose produces sort of chemical smell making it impossible to sleep.

Normally I fall asleep with mask on quickly nearly always but smell was persisting.

I was forced to replace this new hose with old one, which is perfectly intact and slept well for 7 hours.

This new hose is also heavier than older one and elastic sleeves are much harder to slide on to make hose connected to the machine and mask as they are less elastic.
