I'm 80 years old and have rarely needed to use the NHS. However, in June a District Nurse came to see me, she was a blessing in disguise. Bonnie, a Community Occupational Therapist came and assessed all my house and furniture and sorted out a more comfortable bed for me.
The respiratory team have also been fantastic, Sarah insisted I go to hospital to have my breathing problems investigated and treated. I was at the PRU in Bromley for two weeks on the Farnborough Ward, and am so thankful to Sarah for speaking to my doctor and getting me into hospital. I am now breathing much better and feeling so well as a result.
Everyone from the cleaners up were so nice, friendly and helpful I cannot speak highly enough about them. I felt at home at the hospital and will not have any fear of being admitted in the future.
Bonnie, Sarah and the staff on Farnborough Ward have changed my life.
