Halal food seemed to be to difficult to arrange
Went 4 days without halal meal
Had to get money transferred to pay for food
Clearly told staff on their list to arrange halal food,
Over and over again excuses
When charging the NHS almost £1000 a day per patient you would expect good communication and for the place to be well staffed
Agency Staff in every day
Barely any of them spoke that good english
Bedrooms and area clean
Outdoor area convient
Dining room good size
TV area and game area which helps pass time
Doctors which assessed me and discharged me quicker than any other patient their quickly realised i was mentally to fit to be sent back to manchester but you get a good sense that they keep you in against your will for longer adding on days which when already off a section which costs the NHS thousands
A funny sense that the doctors in there like to expand out treatment to the fullest to get more money in, i complied by all thier rules, never swore once and never at any point caused any distruptions or bad to deal with
I was hit with a mug by one patient
My clothes went missing every day
My cigerattes seemed to go missing every time i went for evening dinner
My food i bought in seemed to get robbed
The staff did not care
Most staff were helpful but seemed like they did not actually care about our mental health, more just concentrating on observating us, getting thier paperwork done and not really consilating iwith us and helping patients move forward from thier mental health problems
Im not sure how it is now but my experience was not great there
Many people in there, against there will after hearing their stories really were in no threat to themselves or others, a few which clearly needed help.
Honestly hope this place and other places i have been admitted to improve and hire staff which are more passionate about helping people than just taking a wage
