I recently finished 6 weeks of CBT at the Ealing IAPT service. My 'coach' was Erica. I really liked working with Erica. I was initially even surprised that she's still a trainee - she just seems so adept at working with her patients. I was particularly impressed how she was able to tailor the formal therapy type to my individual skills and needs - I'm probably a pretty difficult patient, as I have never really been able to lead a very structured life. She helped me see stuff that is now obvious in retrospect, and helped ME change my lifestyle to improve my mood and make me more active. Erica is really a wonderful person, and I wish her the best.

I'm glad you pointed out that even in 6 sessions you managed to make such positive changes to your mood and lifestyle. Its really helpful for other readers to hear from someone who has been through the process, that a brief intervention can have a surprisingly big impact if you are motivated. And you clearly were.
