"he staff there were wonderful"

About: Poole General Hospital / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

After I fell at my daughter's house she insisted on calling the 111 service to make sure I was alright. As I'm in my 80s my daughter was taking the cautious route which, I guess, was understandable.

An ambulance was sent round, it didn't take long, and the two young men, Simon and Mike, felt it would be prudent to have me checked out at Poole Hospital. Although we were at the hospital quite late, the staff there were wonderful. I had scans and everything done before being discharged.

Dear Starzs84,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story and I hope you are recovering well.

It is always rewarding to hear stories of how our staff are delivering care and support to patients and those around them when they need it most.

We would be happy to share your story with the ambulance staff involved in your care, however, to do so we will need some specific information. If you would like us to do this, please may I ask you to contact us on either plaudits@swast.nhs.uk or 01392 453 831 and a member of the Patient Engagement Team will be happy to help you further.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide us with feedback.

Kind regards,

Sharifa
