"Assessments for a new wheelchair"

About: WestMARC (Lanarkshire) / Adult Wheelchair Clinic

(as a relative),

A wheelchair is being built for my relative who has MS. She's just had her second assessment and was already seen for her first assessment and interview a few weeks ago. Initially they thought she could have an electric wheelchair but due to her limited dexterity in her hands the OT and engineer have decided this isn't suitable so they will make her a manual wheelchair instead. The staff were great and said the new chair will be ready in 5 to 6 weeks. I'm very pleased with the care attention that she's received and the staff were very informative. Special thanks to Colin and Carol.
