"Awful lack of communication"

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital / Respiratory medicine

Extremely poor service,terminal relative with no communication from any member of staff..Waited 3 hours to see anyone that could give me info and no one came..was given false information as I learned from a doctor from a different hospital within the boundaries where my relative was transferred as a day case before returning to RSH,second time had to chase a jumior doctor to get any info..i realise they are overworked however everyones family member is important to the family and they have a right to any info from tests etc..Strongly would not recommend this hospital based on poor communication and fitting patients with equipment they do not know how to work.....poor...why pay nat ins all your life for this??...

Waiting for information is frustrating, it can be due to many reasons – waiting for test results or a specialist consultant for example.
