My 94 year old mother was taken to A & E yesterday evening, having had a fall in her room and sustaining a wide gash to her scalp.
A & E was extremely busy at the time.
She was assessed and moved to the Majors Overflow ward.
A Doctor had the task of stitching the very open wound, around which the anesthetic was having little effect.
They very caringly, efficiently and kindly treated my mother and I am very grateful to the Doctor and the other staff involved.
