"The Nhs at its best"

Ive been on a bit of a journey and have to say a huge thankyou to the fantastic staff at Barnsley Hospital.I was admitted the first time through A and E with quincy.The medical team picked it up straight away and I was treated quickly.Thanks to the ENT team who ensured that I got the correct treatment.The Doctor who drained the abcess was excellent and put me at ease during the process and managed to drain it all. They're an assett to a very professional skillful ENT team up there at Barnsley.After recovery I had my tonsils out in day surgery last Wednesday.After reading Horror stories beforehand all I can say is Thankyou because everyone from the lovely staff member who booked me in to the surgeon and aneasatist who put me at ease and when I came round I was pain free and looked after.I went home after 6 hours.I sadly came back in on bank holiday Monday with a little bleed and was treated by the same ENT doctor whom had drained my original abcess.Thankyou. They were brilliant and had me on antibiotics and observation for 24hrs.I was placed on ward 31.Thankyou to the nursing staff.Thankyou Barnsley Hospital.Showing the NHS at its very best.Thanks again to ENT team up there and dont take this the wrong way.Im happy to be better and never be back.haha.Keep up the excellent work.
