I have had to visit MIU twice in the last week and unfortunately several times before for incidents of self harm. 15 years ago in a different city I did not have the best treatment by A&E staff which made me feel worse. I am so relieved I live near the MIU and have nothing but gratituden and appreciation for treating me well yet not being too intrusive with the questions. You have all been sensitive and caring when I have sometimes been in a distressed state. Thank you all again.
