"Good care"

About: Princess Royal University Hospital / Accident and emergency

My Mother was admitted to A&E with a suspected broken hip. She was seen by a Doctor who was extremely kind and immediately made my Mum feel at ease.

She was transferred to the Acute Trauma Unit very quickly.

Here she was looked after by very hard working nurse.

I observed the way the nurse interacted with the patients in a very compassionate manner.

I wish all nurses would follow their lead.

We do hope that your mother is ok and wish her a speedy recover.

It is always worrying being admitted as an emergency, so it is good to hear that the Doctor in A&E made your mother feel at ease and that she was transferred quickly.

As always, it's good to hear that the nurse who looked after your mother was compassionate - it is so important and is something that we strive to achieve for all our staff.
