About: National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery - Queen Square / Neurosurgery

Very disappointing. I had brain surgery and have a lot of complications. Suffered a bout of anxiety whilst in hospital due to tumour being in area of brain that regulates emotions. Quickly labelled and dismissed by staff. Concerns not taken seriously. Advised to take antidepressants when suffering from neurological sequelae.

Multidisciplinary meeting held and documentation created stating patient not to read.

general attitude of senior staff including laa ward sister and neuro psychiatrist very scornful and dismissive.

nursing staff very pleasant.

supposedly a centre of excellence but way short of the mark.
