"Gynaecology outpatients"

About: Burnley General Hospital / Gynaecology

i was seen this weekend at the outpatients department for a planned appointment. i was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. i was welcomed with a warm smile and put at ease from the outset.

i will be admitted this autumn for a hysterectomy and the time spent after seeing the consultant, to prepare the planning for admission, was carried out in a most sensitive way. Every aspect of my admission was considered and I was given information to take with me to the pre op assessment and literature to read.

i feel completely reassured that my procedure will go ahead smoothly and i will be taken care of with great professionalism and kindness.

From start to finish this appointment was a huge credit to the staff and the NHS. Thank you.
