My wife was admitted June 5th 2017 with severe sepsis. The immediate urgency was accomplished with swift care and expertise. Her stay in Queens lasted nearly 7 weeks and throughout the surgery, intensive care and post-operative recovery in ward 14 was without fault. The sisters and staff of ward 14 showed a competence and sincere care ethic that was comforting to experience. They oozed friendliness and a sense of enjoying their work. My wife is now at home and recovering well, with the superb assistance of our local district nursing staff. Never mind the harsh criticism the NHS suffers at the hands of the badly informed media, you folks at Queens Hospital can be proud of doing a tremendous job.
For the rest of our lives we shall be eternally grateful to you all for bringing us through this traumatic time of our lives.
Well done Queens, you are a credit to your professions.
"Life saving expertise and sincere care."
