"Above and beyond her role"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department University Hospital Monklands / Radiology

(as a service user),

Initially I was admitted to the receiving ward then after some tests I was taken upstairs to ward 19. Let me be very clear I've had a really tough couple of years and I was feeling at my absolute lowest when I was admitted. But thanks to two members of staff who went above and beyond policies and procedures I felt a little more human. One staff member was from a&e xray, who actually helped me above and beyond her role and the other person was, she had a dark blue uniform on and gave me my night time medication. I don't want to ramble on but credit where it's due and I'm a professional person I know how to work with people. Could you please thank them from the bottom of my heart for their care, kindness, support, knowledge and empathy.
