"After I had my baby"

About: University Hospital Of North Tees / Maternity care

The midwives apart from one struggled to get my baby latched onto my breast. I was then pressured to give him a bottle which confused him even more. I then found out from my midwife at home that giving a bottle was the number one rule which you shouldn't do when trying to breastfeed. One midwife even told me to close the curtain or cover up when I was breastfeeding and I told them that I didn't mind and they replied "well other people might" and then closed the curtain behind them. I think it should be made clear to the midwives that sexism is never okay especially after someone has just had a baby and better education on breastfeeding.
