"I would like to say a huge "Thank..."

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

What I liked

I would like to say a huge "Thank You" to all of the doctors, nurses and staff in A & E who treated me when I came in with a broken wrist on the 6th August.

I broke my wrist when I fell whilst walking in Patterdale in the Lake District, mountain rescue gave me first aid and took me to their Patterdale rescue centre. An ambulance from LRI came very quickly and the crew were very good in treating me and getting me back to

Lancaster as quickly as they could. I cannot remember their names but please give them my thanks for their excellent treatment and care.

The staff and doctors at A & E were very proffesional and looked after me very well.

Please give a special thank you to the junior doctor and the male nurse who reset my broken wrist. The consultant who assesed me the following day thought the doctor had done an excellent job in resetting my wrist.

Please pass on my thanks to all involved.

It is good to know that your hospital is working to excellent standards of patient care and has excellent staff who are doing a great job in sometimes difficult circumstances.

Many Thanks

Carol Barker

Anything else?

Please ensure you pass on my thanks to all in A & E and the ambulance crew
