I was admitted overnight to Canterbury Ward after undergoing a scarf oseotomy op to correct a bunion. I wish to say that the treatment I received from all the staff from DOSA and during the op- anaesthesists, and surgeons, up until admittance to Canterbury Ward and discharge the following day was exceptional. The nurses and auxilliaries could not have been kinder and more helpful. The ward was very clean and there was a decorum and quietness about it which one needs after undergoing a general anaesthetic.
The toilet and washing facilities were spotless. I have no complaints and congratulate all concerned as to how they go about their work. All in all it was a very positive experience as one is rather nervous faced with having an operation
