I suffer from pain and depression and I think that the pain had an effect which worsened my depression and in the vicious cycle of the two have continued. The pain clinic actually made me realise what and where the pain was originating from and that had a positive impact on my mental health. I felt inspired afterwards, although the problems are still there , I felt more positive about my future.
It's a brilliant course to do, knowing what your body and brain are doing to protect you from outside influences, can give you an insight of how to understand where and why you have certain pain. It will not give you a magic solution but it can give you some "mental/physical tools" which may help with the way that you can live your life.
If you do suffer from pain, you need to try this option . There is no pressure to give up anything, start anything or believe it could work. You can only try it and give it a go.
