"Excellent hospital"

About: Basildon University Hospital / Urology

I attended

Elizabeth Monk Ward yesterday for a Prostrate Biopsy, and was not looking forward to it. The care and attention and good humour of the all staff was excellent, and the doctor extremely professional and clear about the procedure.

This hospital suffers from some bad publicity, but my experience over the years has been really good. The care I had when there for 6 weeks with pneumonia, and the care and attention my late wife received during her battle against cancer, was of a very high standard,
