"My daughter's care"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

My daughter who is 25 has been admitted since Wednesday 17th august and to say the care she has had is inadequate is only the start. She has seen 4 different doctors having to look through her history each time and repeat the same questions to get each time.

The requirements her consultant has put in her notes regarding IV fluids and the instructions not carried out by the staff on the ward.

My daughter asking for pain relief and then written into her notes not in pain and no medication given.

Fluid intake she has not had written into her notes a NV d her consultant is aware of this.

Canular nit changed when required and ended up callousing on her.

She also has the name of the nurse on her ward who shows a lack of concern in regard to her pain and just ignores her requests and has been informed by me to put in as n official complaint.

She is now on day 6 and still going round in circles to find out what is wrong with her.two days ago told she had fluid in her pelvis and they would look to see what type of fluid it is and she still has not been told.

It would be a lot better if the patient had just one consultant telling them what was happening so they had just one picture and one person informing them.

My daughter is still in at present with no answers hopefully she will get some as I have informed her to speak to her consultant not another doctor.

This is already in consultant with PALS.
