"I was rushed into Hereford, following..."

About: Hereford County Hospital

What I liked

I was rushed into Hereford, following complications after the successful birth of my baby at home. I was seen immediately and after a slightly bumpy start on my arrival (I had lost a lot of blood and was very tender) I was only too happy with my care. The midwives were all fantastic and the consultant made sure I completely understood my situation and the necessary treatment. I had 3 surgeries during which I was made very comfortable and I was always explained what was happening as this helped me remain calm. I spent a day in ITU which was impeccable. I was seen by all the different sections of Maternity to help me recover and I have nothing but respect and thanks for everyone that saw me. Everyone was kind and helpful, although obviously very busy at the same time. My husband was helped out with kindness and understanding as he looked after our new baby whilst I recovered. Thankyou to everyone that treated and helped me, making a traumatic time very positive and helping me so very much.

What could be improved

I have nothing but positive comments.
