"Independent monitoring of independent investigators "

About: NHS Highland (Health)

(as a relative),

I have 2 stories of NHS treatment that my father and wife received and did not receive on websites www.medicalneglect2.webs.com www.medicalneglect.webs.com One knows that it is natural for humans to deny and cover up errors and one, therefore, expects this but it is not acceptable for the so called impartial and investigatory institutions to be complicit in covering up. There has to be some independent monitoring to ensure that the independent investigators are truly independent. There needs to be a duty of candour among NHS staff when confronted with NHS complaints which is backed up some legal accountability. The details of my cases are too long to relate here but can be viewed on the above websites and could be useful for those who are about to endure the NHS complaint procedures. They may also be useful to anyone interested to in adult epiglottitis or in dialysis and sclerosing peritonitis.

Dear Smoo

I have recently taken up post as Head of Public Relations for NHS Highland and together with Board Director of Nursing (Heid May), we have been reviewing all postings on Patient Opinion. I note this was posted some time ago (16 months) and relates to care from 2008. Nevertheless I will look at the information on the websites.

Regards

Maimie Thompson
