"Treated as individuals"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Well treated, kept well informed including delay to surgery due to traffic conditions delaying staff. Staff were friendly and largely cheerful.

Glad I took reading material as there was a fair amount of waiting either side of the procedure.

Had to ask the outcome of the inspection from discharge nurse and she gave her interpretation based on notes available.

Care was good I felt the staff treated patients as individuals which was as it should be.

Thanks.

Dear P space Hunter,

Many thanks for taking time to post your comments. I am delighted to hear that you were kept informed with the unfortunate delay to surgery. It is normal process for the nurses to give the information based on the results they have available and I pleased that they were able to do this for you.

I will share your comments with the team and once again thank you for taking the time to comment.

Best Wishes

Fiona
