"Can my visits be within the hour?"

Usually seems busy. New Medical Day Unit has been opened on Ward 8A. Increasing number of patients attending for infusions. I attend every month for a 30 minute drug infusion.

I always phone in the morning to confirm attendance. I am usually in the unit for 1. 75 to 3 hours. As a result car parking costs £3. 40 every time. If my visit was within the hour then the lower one- hour charge could apply. I am completely in NHS control from the time I arrive in the Ward.

Since I am there for as long as NHS staff require any chance of limiting the regular car park charge to the lower one - hour rate. I feel like I am being delayed unnecessarily in the Ward so I can pay the higher car park charge.
