"Outstanding approach to care"

About: Holme Valley Memorial Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

Following months of trying various options to resolve significant pain in my right foot I was now to have podiatric surgery.

The staff at the hospital from the receptionists to the surgeon (the latter being the only staff member who I did not really discuss my surgery with ) were amazing/ outstanding..

The appointments were always on time.

I was treated at all times with dignity and respect, always fully informed and believe it or not the actual surgery in a fully fitted theatre was really comfortable due to the whole team approach.

As a fellow health professional this team need recognition for their outstanding approach to care because they more than tick all the requirements as true caring professionals.

You mentioned the team approach and we do believe this is what makes such a difference here. Everyone works together to provide a very high standard of care. The patient is always at the centre of everything we do - we are very lucky to have a fantastic team who enjoy what they do.
