"Partial knee replacement with the doctor"

The whole experience from start to finish was exemplary. As I was a "young" lady (49) to have a knee replacement I was very nervous. The doctor made me feel at ease and explained the whole procedure very well. On the day of the surgery I was taken to my room which was very plush and had everything that I needed.

The nursing staff were excellent. I was taken to theatres and the next I remember I was in recovery. I felt great and I was up and about the next day, physiotherapists were brilliant and gave me a list of exercises to do.

I was fed and watered well and all the staff were very friendly. My after care was superb with plenty of physiotherapy and I had a follow up appointment with the doctor.

My outcome has been better than I could ever have expected I am totally pain free and I don't even think about my knee now and just carry on doing all the things that I enjoy, walking, cycling, gardening and going to the gym.
