"took the time to explain everything with compassion and warmth"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

Booked in for colonoscopy on Monday..been waiting for this for a few weeks and extremely anxious about the whole procedure (even being a nurse myself).

From arriving in the Endoscopy Suite to recovery, the nurses were fantastic and made the whole experience as relaxing as could be given the circumstances. Special mention to Endoscopist Nurse, Claire who took the time to explain everything with compassion and warmth and the whole procedure was pain free and very interesting (I was fascinated by it all).

The Staff Nurse and HCSW in the room were lovely too (sorry ladies forgot your names! ). I would encourage all over 50's to get the bowel screening done! If only for peace of mind.....
