Several years ago I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis and have been under the excellent care of the consultant and their team, the service provided by them is wonderful. The consultant genuinely caring and understanding calm and reassuring. Their support staff and Podiatrust, OT and physio are supportive and caring.
The consultant has been rebuilding me bit by bit, they are kind, sensitive , fun and genuinely interested in you as an individual, not to mention being an incredibly talented surgeon. The consultant is so enthusiastic about their field of work.
Since my most recent surgery I gave been attending fracture clinic on a weekly basis. The staff there work incredibly hard are always busy but there is always a smile a kind word and nothing is too much trouble.
All the staff are knowledgeable, cheerful and kind despite the constant flow of patients nothing ever seems to be too much trouble for them
Too much is said about the state of the NHS but as a patient I find that Torbay cannot be faulted.
I am now retired but was a Torbay trained Nurse and A&E Sister, and proud to be one. Standards of care in my experience have not changed.
As a Chief executive you should be immensely proud of your staff and I would be grateful if you would pass on my gratitude to them. I suppose pay rises for them are out of the question?
"Excellent staff wonderful care"
