"Unable to get an appointment"

I attended a clinic for a special pelvic floor area check where my current medication was reviewed by the doctor.

I was advised to get an appointment with my GP as soon as possible to stop one of the medicines and replace with another.

I telephoned the surgery and was answered, eventually by a receptionist, who asked when I'd had this instruction.

They said that as it was 2 days ago another 3 days wait wouldn't matter and to 'phone Monday!!!

I did so twice, just before lunch, and was kept on hold for a total of 11 minutes And cut off twice!

My health seems to be of little concern to them!
