"It has given me the tools to cope with my addiction"

About: One Recovery Bucks / High Wycombe

(as a service user),

I started attending SRP (structured recovery programme) a group at Oasis High Wycombe with a leader call Robin. I had managed to cut my drug use right down (Crack & heroin) and was very reluctant to try any group work but SRP has completely changed my life. It has given me the tools to cope with my addiction and the frequent urges that I get. Robin has been a fantastic leader and although I am happy to graduate I will be sad to leave.

Thanks for taking the time to give your valuable feedback. It is great to hear how well SRP has equipped you with the skills to reduce your substance use. Keep applying the tools and they will become automatic responses to high risk situations, triggers and cravings, supporting the changes you have already started to make.

I will ensure Robin gets you feedback, he is an excellent skilled facilitator.

Now you have graduated keep attending all the other things we have on offer at STARs and remember we also have the fellowships and SMART Recovery running from our premises.

All the best with your recovery

Kind Regards

Tracy

I must also take the time to give a big thank you to my key worker Jess who helped me actually get to group in the first place and is by far the best key worker I have had over my 15 year addiction (there have been a lot).
