"A&E and CCU staff were fantastic"

I would just like to say thank you to the staff of the A&E dept and the CCU at Peterborough District Hospital. It seems to me that this hospital has a bad reputation, and certainly I was disgusted with the way my mother was treated prior to her death in 2003.

However, my father was admitted to A&E and transferred to CCU. The A&E staff were fantastic, kind and caring and explained everthing that was happening. Upon transfer to CCU the staff their were great. Nothing was too much for them. They allowed us to visit whenever we needed, and the care they gave our dad was outstanding. The consultants came in on a Saturday evening to talk to us.

Sadly my father passed away, but it was with complete dignity, unlike my mother.
