I just wanted to say a big thank you to the staff in A&E and the Acute Medical Unit for the care and treatment my husband received this week, I should also add that the paramedics who took him to St Peters were also excellent. I would also like to particularly mention the nurse in charge (Bay E) on Wednesday evening, they took the trouble to visit to each patient to introduce themselves and to let them know they would be looking after them. I thought this a lovely touch and very reassuring for the patients.
The Dr's who treated my husband were very good at explaining what they were doing and why, to both of us and were happy to answer any questions that we may have had. In-fact, they made a point of checking with us to see if we did have any questions after each time something was explained, as a worried wife it may me feel very re-assured.
People are quick to criticise but, slow to praise which is why I wanted to leave this feed back.
"A Big Thank You"
