"Hip replacement"

I have recently had hip replacement surgery under the NHS at the Wessex Nuffield, the consultant was excellent, kept me fully informed of my options, the risks and the ultimate outcome, was always most professional and polite, I wish I could name them so everyone can see how amazing they are.

On admission I was seen promptly and shown to my room and explained everything, then the nurses introduced themselves.

The anaesthetist came and fully explained the different choices I had regarding anaesthesia and helped me make the right choice for me.

The theatre staff were so kind and considerate, understanding any fears or worries.

Once I awoke I was given excellent care in recovery and then taken back to my room.

After care was second to none, nurses, physiotherapists, care workers, cleaners and catering staff are all superb.

Now three weeks on from surgery I am walking unaided, no pain and fast on the road to complete recovery back to normal.

Without the superb care from the complete team at the Nuffield I am not sure I would be in such a good place as I am today.

From the bottom of my heart I thank single person involved in my care.
